Overview and Characteristics of SMVR

Principle

SMVR equipment distills raw water (sea water, river water, ground water, sewage, waste water) to make drinking water,
and makes sewage or wastewater reusable, and minimizes waste water production

  • Initially, steam is generated by boiling raw water using an electric heater.
  • The generated steam will inflow into a turbo steam compressor to produce high temperature and pressure steam. This steam will pass the latent and sensible heat exchangers to be then used as thermal energy to reheat raw water. (after this cycle, the electric heater is no longer used)

Characteristics

  • SMVR is a system that produces water (drinking water) by boiling and evaporating, such as seawater, polluted ground water and lime water without using chemicals and filters. Therefore, it is 100% sterilized safe and eco-friendly equipment.
  • Makes domestic wastewater and industrial wastewater reusable and reduces wastewater by up to 1/10.
  • Water (drinking water) production capacity and efficiency is higher than those of existing RO type desalination system, and it is possible to produce high quality water constantly. (100 ppm or less)
  • Cyclic parts replacement is unnecessary and maintenance is easy according to the equipment manual. (Problem is displayed on LCD monitor when it occurs)
  • As a compact equipment, it is relatively easy to install and relocate, and can be installed anywhere regardless of place if there is an electric energy.
  • It is possible to create profit by producing edible sterilized salts if a salt farm to store the concentrate water is constructed when purifies cleam seawater.
